First Choice Health Plan of Mississippi offers an array of services, all of which are in place to help provide assistance to the consumer. The following services are available from First Choice Health Plan of Mississippi.

First Choice is always interested in accepting your physician nominations. By nominating a physician, you give him or her the chance to become part of the First Choice Network of preferred providers. Once nominated, we will contact the physician and he or she will be sent a pre-application packet to fill out and return to our offices.

The utilization management program and the data it generates are vital parts of the patient and cost management strategy. We are very cooperative with independent utilization review companies and will cooperate fully with the vendor of your choice. We would be pleased to provide Utilization management service through our utilization management personnel.

First Choice is available to assist in employee education sessions and communications efforts. Brochures and educational pieces from the providers, coupled with employee presentation sessions are very helpful. Our role can be as extensive as you wish.
