First Choice Health Plan of Mississippi is proud to offer over 4,500 physicians in our network.
The participating physicians are committed to preferred provider services through a contract with First Choice.

The professional credentials of each physician are examined according to First Choice criteria and we provide, at a minimum, a bi-annual review of each physician's credentials. Utilization of each physicians leadership and direction is a key element of the First Choice program. Physicians make up half of the Board of Directors and all of the Utilization Management, Medical Management and Credentials committees.
